Welcome to A Loaf Letter, where each sourdough is a handwritten note of love—sealed with care, folded by hand, and baked from the heart.
What started as a quiet passion for sourdough in my home kitchen in Kendall, Florida, has grown into a small but mighty bakery dedicated to the art of slow, intentional baking. Every loaf I make is mixed, shaped, and baked by hand using only the freshest, most wholesome ingredients—no shortcuts, no fillers, just real food made with real love.
The name A Loaf Letter is more than a play on words—it’s the heart of everything I do. From the letter-style packaging to the way each batch is thoughtfully prepared, I see every bake as a way to send something meaningful into the world.
My signature loaves include the True Loaf, a classic sourdough with a bold crust and soft, tangy crumb—and You Had Me at Guava, a Miami-inspired love note filled with guava and cheese. It’s my nod to the flavors and culture that make this city so vibrant.
I bake in small batches each week, so every order gets the care and attention it deserves. Whether you’re picking up a weekly favorite or sharing it with someone special, know this: it was made for you, with love.
Thank you for being part of this story—one slice at a time.
With heart,
Lissy
